No issues with the arm rocking on my Aurora Air.

They won't fit on combos; other covers fit reels while ON the rod. I don't use them. These are for storage/transport.👍

I have those style of cases for my baitcaster.

Just got mine yesterday based on your recommendation. The tension knob is now fixed and oh it cast like a dream even for 1 gram lures. I'm also using it with a cheap mavlos delicacy rod spooled with 6lbs braid.

I went to the site and got a red one, and the carbon fiber one , said that was all they had. 5.67 total for both. Not bad when Amazon wants 10 just for the carbon fiber. Says it will arrive July 12th.

Going against my better judgement, I bought one. My cast control knob is easy to adjust. That’s good. Put the larger spool in. Filled with 8 us hybrid. Great cast control. I’m really impressed at this price.

Just got mine and the looks are great. The spool tension knob is perfect. Haven't casted it yet. BUT both the handle and the knobs are problematic: The handle is very sloppy, moves in and out vs the body significantly and the knobs are quite loose (will require shimming). The tolerances for the Cast-X I also have are 200% better as far as the handle and knobs are concerned. To say I'm disappointed is putting it mildly. Seasir's quality control sucks!

The Metanium MGL I had was a bitch to access the side plate especially while putting it back on . Not a great caster so I sent it back, got a Metanium DC Better caster not as smooth After a week started to make Grinding noises That went back as well What’s next Thinking about a Tatula Elite any thoughts ?

I really like my Histar. IT casts a 2.5 grm lure about 56 turns . Not sure how far that is , but looks like a far distance . I tried a heavier lure around 5 grams and it wasn't a good for some reason . i was using 8lb Braid and a cheap baitcaster that casts between 1 gram and 5 gram . Great video by the way

Why cast with your right hand and then have to change hands to wind your line in? Seems very inefficient to me. Cast with your right hand and wind with your left - your right arm is stronger and has better control. Buy a left hand reel.

Have this rod with a Nako Flight feather reel. It's an absolute joy for walking a stream with just a couple Mule fishing plastics in your pocket. You're right that the tip is stiff, and it does help with working the bait in the water. You can compensate for it a bit when casting by just leaving more line out. Unrelated note: the parts of the video without the background "music" are 100X better than where you added it. EDM cymbals are just annoying when you're trying to watch a peaceful creek and hear what you're saying.

Thanks for the three videos, I picked one up to try out on a Kastking BFS rod. The more I learn from your channel I have found that around 2 gram seems to be the threshold for my abilities - Micro for panfish vs bfs for bass

Try to turn your hand 90 degrees, when overhead casting. This will give you more casting distance as the line is touching the blank less.

I believe by not being able to adjust the spool tension knob is limiting the performance and casting distance of the reel. I hope it gets fixed. Great vid like always.
